Unlocked Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) now available via Amazon, can be used on T-Mobile and AT&T
Back in January, Samsung released the Galaxy J3 (2016) in the US, though only via Sprint, Boost Mobile, and Virgin Mobile - so we're talking about the CDMA variant of the handset. But what if you want a GSM Galaxy J3? Well, you can now buy one via Amazon, which is selling the smartphone unlocked.

The Galaxy J3 (2016) that can be purchased via Amazon costs $189.99, so it's a tad cheaper than the Sprint version ($192). The device is compatible with the networks of AT&T and T-Mobile (LTE included), and you can get it in black (dual SIM), white (dual SIM), or gold (single SIM) - check out the source links at the end of this article.

As you'd imagine seeing its price, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) is no high-end phone. It's a 5-inch (720p Super AMOLED) handset that's powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor aided by 1.5 GB of RAM. It's also got an 8 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera, 8 GB of expandable storage space, and a 2600 mAh battery. At the moment, the J3 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and we're not sure if it's going to be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

AT&T will also sell a GSM/LTE variant of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016), but only starting May 6.
