Micromax has announced the launch of Canvas Spark 2 Plus, the first smartphone by the company to run Android Marshmallow out of the box. Canvas Spark 2 is Snapdeal exclusive and will be available at Rs 3,999.

Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus is a 3G-enabled smartphone and features a 5-inch FWVGA screen. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor, coupled with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM.

Canvas Spark 2 Plus features a five megapixel rear camera and two megapixel front camera. Just like Canvas Spark 3, this one too comes with Indus, a regional language app. Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics, said, “With the launch of the Canvas Spark 2 Plus, we are offering first time users, with a smooth transition at a wallet-friendly price. Our objective is to convert feature phone users into smartphone users, and synthesize technology and affordability in for this device.”

The smartphone will be available from April 22 on Snapdeal in metallic grey, copper gold and champagne gold colour variants.
