Ulefone is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, and even though they’re not exactly a big company, they’ve released some really compelling devices in the last couple of years. We’ve reviewed some of Ulefone’s products, like the Ulefone Be One and Be Touch 2 smartphones. That being said, Ulefone has been working on a rather interesting device for quite some time, and has been teasing its release. The device in question is called Ulefone Future, and it sports no bezel on the sides.

Well, the company has now officially introduced this smartphone by sharing its full spec sheet, a ton of official images, and also some availability information. The Ulefone Future will be available for purchase starting next week, and it sports mid-range specifications. The phone is made out of magnesium-aluminum materials, and it sports a unibody design. The 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) In-Cell LTPS display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 is placed on the front of this phone, and the device also ships with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. MediaTek’s Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, along with the Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. The 16-megapixel snapper (Samsung’s s5k3p3 sensor, f/2.0 aperture) is placed on the back of the Ulefone Future, and a 5-megapixel shooter can be found on the front side of this phone. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable. Speaking of which, you do get Fast Charging here (9V/2A charger), and a Type-C USB port is available on the bottom of the phone.

This smartphone also sport a side-facing fingerprint scanner (0.1-0.5 seconds to unlock), and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the phone with some additions from Ulefone. There are two SIM card slots available inside of the device (Micro SIM + Nano SIM), one of which can be used to expand the phone’s internal storage. 4G LTE (FDD-LTE & TD-LTE) support is also included here, while the device measures 151.5 x 73.5 x 8.6mm, and weighs 185 grams. The device will be available in Space Grey and Gold color variants, and we still don’t know how much will it cost, but Ulefone will release that info soon enough, stay tuned.
