The keynote is taking place at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium this year while rest of the sessions are being held at Moscone West.

Apple has confirmed that it will hold its Worldwide Developers Conference on June 13 in San Francisco. The WWDC 2016 is the 27th edition of Apple’s annual developers conference.

This year, WWDC 2016 will be held from June 13 through June 17. As it has been a tradition now, Apple will unveil new tools for developers and announce new developments to all four software platforms – iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS.

The keynote is taking place at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium this year while rest of the sessions are being held at Moscone West.

“With four innovative operating systems and a new, intuitive programming language powering over 1 billion devices worldwide, there has never been a more exciting time to bring our developer community together,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

At WWDC 2014, Apple announced Swift programming language and Phil believes WWDC 2016 could be a landmark event for all developers coding in Swift.

In a nutshell, WWDC 2016 will give access to latest innovations and capabilities of all four major Apple operating systems. The event will also recognise key iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac apps for design excellence.
